Now I am a published author

I’ve always been a writer - in the sense that I’ve always written stories. I’ve even published, if posting fanfiction counts as publication, which I think it does. (You can find links to some of my fanfiction on the “Free” page of this site.

But September 2019 marks the time I became a published author of two books. I have a contract and a royalty arrangement, and an editor, and people who want to work with me on marketing.

The sensation is exhilarating, but also incredibly humbling. It feels like an awfully brash thing to do.

I don’t want to sound falsely humble here: I like my stories. I think they’re entertaining and valuable, so it’s not a crazy stretch to imagine that others might think so too. But you know: there they are, out in the world now, where people can buy them. Some people have.

Fly, little books! Let’s see what happens.
